From 1995 through 1999 I worked as a contractor at Microsoft within three different product groups. I initially started out working on Sports Reference CD ROMs and then switched over to the Trip Planner software product. Within this period there was a major shift within Microsoft from producing strictly software delivered via CD ROM to a new focus on the possibilities of the Internet. Not long after that I had the opportunity to be a part of Sidewalk.com.
